Photo-Club-Calendar & Suggestions

On the First Friday evening of  every Month.

The Vero Beach Downtown “Dine & Design” event, The “Downtown Stroll”

A great photo opportunity to walk and talk, shoot and view  the art and inspiration of  local artists including many of our local photographers and photo club members.

This is an evening unhurried stroll where gallery and store owners welcome you, often with light snacks, and a wealth of creative information.

Make sure you have your camera with you as many “study” and character shots will come your way as dusk envelopes the locations on 14th Avenue.

Please note:

As a seasonal event it takes place just during our cooler months.

Gallery Stroll  on the First Friday of each month at downtown Vero Beach.

Barbara duPont, Susan Webb, & Bob Barbour and several other members have their photographs on display in certain galleries.

Join the FOS and their mission to inspire environmental stewardship of Florida's coastal ecosystems through education and research.

With more than 8,500 miles of tidal shoreline, 2.1 million acres of estuaries and 30 percent of the state's land cover consisting of wetlands, Florida's relationship to water is vital to the prosperity of our state.

Since 1964, Florida Oceanographic Society has worked to protect our coastal ecosystems through education and research. Visit the Coastal Center, become a member, and volunteer.  There are many great photo opportunities. Visit the web site for up to date information.
